Major new feature announcement: Codeless Keyword Lookups
The new feature allows QAF to completely integrate with your Data Dictionary such that:
Keywords fields deriving data from a Data Dictionary can be configured in QAF using simple forms and mouse clicks. QAF automatically generates the related form-field(s) and adds/replaces them in your form.
In addition, native DB2 integration is a design goal. By this facility, tools can be built into QAF that assist the transition to DB2 back-end. For example, the translation of DBLookups to SQL queries.
This is a highly experimental feature with excellent potential but needs to be explored in it's alpha stage by other organisations before the final model can be determined.
This feature will appear in QAF 1.1 Alpha in the next few weeks. |
