Discussion Add On: Add Notes Documents to Discussion Applications This prototype is not a core feature of the template but rather a global add on to Lotus Notes. The add on allows easy publications of any Notes documents to discussion applications via one click on a new toolbar icon. So Notes users can now easily share information with their colleagues or other external people. See here for demo: http://www.openntf.org/blogs/openntf.nsf/d6plinks/NHEF-7WVDR4 Technically I've implemented this add on as Eclipse plugins using the Notes Java backend APIs as well as the new Java UI APIs that come with Lotus Notes 8.5.1. See here for more: http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/heidloffblog.nsf/dx/sample-composite-application-using-xpages-in-lotus-notes-8.5.1 This Eclipse feature contains a plugin "com.ibm.lotuslabs.context.service" which has been implemented by Brian Leonard (IBM). It is used to read the Notes URL of the currently selected document. Brian would like to post this plugin in a separate project together with other rich client extension samples later.
