The references validation feature is to assist XPage development. It scans all XPages and custom controls to find broken data bindings and invalid references, and writes warning to the Eclipse problems view. When the user clicks on the warning in the problems view, the corresponding XPage or custom control resource will be opened and the line will be highlighted.
