A set of web services for other applications to use like SAP, SAPxi, Peoplesoft, Oracle or other applications where LDAP may not be available for verification that a name exists in the Domino Directory. This is done from a separate database so as to not pollute the Domino Directory database (names.nsf).
The first is "NamesLookup" and simply returns a found or not found message.

Note: I had suggested this on Ideajam, but since no one at Lotus/IBM has not done it. Here is one way of implementing it. |
