Code / Description
This is a simple little application that creates documents showing a list of NSF/NTF files that you have access to either locally or a server. It also creates 4 different report types.

The second docuemnt type allows you to enter two server names, and then compare the files on the two servers.

Usage / Example
- Allows you to keep track of the mail files on each of your servers.
- Easily find the largest DBs on servers.
- Keep track of the size ranges on the files on your server.
- Compare files on one server, to another.

When database title is very long it wraps the name to the next line but the ntf/nsf associated with the title does not contain an empty line across from the associated title, so the titles and filenames to not match up anymore. Title of db has 42 characters 7 capitalized. Thanks in advance.

Alan, is there a limit on the number of files it can handle? When I scan a small server (300 files total) it works fine, if I scan a big server (2500+ files) it counts the files but returns no data.

Hi Danny and Keith. I'll try and take a look at these issues soon. Keith, I didn't code any limit into it, but maybe there is a Notes limit for that amount of data, I'm not sure I've not tried with that many files. There is also an issue with the reporting tools skipping every other DB in the list. So I have some things to fix when I have a chance!
Posted by Keith Adley on 03/29/2006 10:22:20 AM32k limit
Alan, thanks for getting back. I think it hits the old 32k paragraph limit. If I try to save the document, there is clearly data there, just not showing and I get the Field or paragraph is >32k error message.

When I create a report on my server, which only has 273 files, I get this error:

Was the issue above ever resolved ?
Alot of our servers have more than 2000 files and they are not displayed in the list.
If you could get this working it would be great as its faster than the Cluster Analysis Tool.
Good presentation at Lotusphere07 btw.
