Code / Description
There are already a few solutions for expanding nested groups, but I needed a 'quick and dirty' one wich can just be pasted into a new database and which attends also groups in groups and do not fail on loops.
Please let me know how you find it or if there are problems.
Usage / Example
'Expandgroups.txt' contains a solution that can be added as an agent to any database (I recommend the Domino Directory itself) to get all names by selecting a group in a picklist.
This solution can be pasted in an agent (run on 'None').
You can adjust the variables vDb and vSrv if needed.
'ExpandgroupsDoc.txt' may be used in documents. Place it in eighter in a button or Field Exiting or Document QuerySave!!!
You have to adjust the following variables:
vLkpKey := FIELD_WITH_NAME_OR_GROUP; (--> do not add quotation marks!)
vSetField := "MULTIVAL_FIELD_TO_SET_NAMES"; (--> set fieldname between quotation marks!)
vFieldforError := "TXTFIELDNAME"; (--> set fieldname between quotation marks!)
vDb & vSrv may also need to be adjusted...
